We talk a lot about our grass fed and grass finished beef. It’s the entire reason we created Flying B Bar Ranch in 2006: to provide quality beef raised in harmony with nature, to restore the natural ecosystem of the eastern plains of Colorado, and to use innovative regenerative practices that reduce our carbon footprint while improving animal and soil health. This has changed into a multi-species opportunity for Flying B Bar Ranch to pursue those same goals. From beef to pork, and now LAMB!
At Flying B Bar Ranch, our lambs are 100% grass fed and finished. This means no grains, corn, or soy, ever, during their entire lives, and we never use hormones, antibiotics, or steroids. They get nothing but grass and sunshine!
After a few years of searching, we started working with a family we’ve known for a while through the grassfed cattle world. They are expert cattle grazers and they’ve been raising sheep for years as well. It’s created a great partnership for us all and gives our customers the confidence that they’re getting the cleanest lamb you can find anywhere
Our lamb is certified by the American Grassfed Association, which is the gold standard when it comes to ensuring that you know what is being put on your dinner table and that it was raised humanely, sustainably and truly grassfed. You can rest assured knowing that you will be receiving all of the health benefits that come along with grassfed meats.
Buying Lamb in Bulk
We encourage all of our customers to buy lamb in bulk. Our bulk customers not only fill their freezers with premium cuts, they also get our lowest price per pound. Plus, if you purchase a half or whole lamb, you can customize every single cut: get your loin chops, roasts, racks, stew and ground lamb exactly how you like it.
